Will detectives be able to tell the difference between not targeting anyone (skipping action) and targeting yourself?

They will be able to see who you target. They will see you target yourself if you target yourself. If you skip action they get the same results as they would if you were a citizen and had no action.

Also admin can you make these topics unviewable unless you are logged in with an account that has access to these parts of the forum (us four members of the mafia and you) or something like that? Right now I can see everything without even logging in, and I don't want cheating to be possible by any means.

I'll stay with skipping my action tonight.

You need to look like you are hesitating before you claim cit. Say that you don't want to claim for as along as possible then when you finally do claim say that you didn't want to claim because the truth seekers would kill you. Remember that every cit should be afraid to claim because that gives the truth seekers a guaranteed kill.

Good idea posting the role list. We can start filling it in after tomorrow.

Essentially that's two free kills night one if they both guess a vigilante, coroner, citizen, time manipulator, executioner, jester, soul thief, student, survivor, gunsmith, or godfather!?
10/18 chance that one of them guesses right 5/18 chance both of them do?

Where are Shaded and Crimson? Is everyone ok with killing Creed?

I think he's an alright choice because he probably won't be healed and he's pretty good. I'd rather kill Ubernox or CmG but they might be healed.

Shaded said he's visiting Cryptonic. I think it's best we send in our own actions so there is no confusion and we can change our actions if you're not on.

I think it might be a good idea for you to claim doc so maybe you should target people who you would heal like Ubernox, CmG etc. When the real doc counter claims you or when you counter claim them you can take their role and if you are killed they will be lynched the next day.

If you want advice, Crimson, this is what I said to my mafia team in FM 12 before being the first mafia to get lynched Rolling Eyes

Don't try to act like you have ulterior motives.

Try to sound as natural as possible, not as if you've spent the last few minutes agonising over how scummy your post looks. If you think you can do it post short and fast as if you are not bothering to think about how scummy you look.

If you think a team member is acting scummy point it out but remember that you might be focusing on them because you know they're scum and not because of their scumtells.

If there is a vote train on a fellow mafia member, in most cases vote early and go hard with the bussing. Some town members might defend the mafia member and they will be accused as his team mates not the people who are pushing hard for his lynch. The lynch will either peter out naturally and people will remember your votes when that member dies later or it will go straight through and you will look like town for voting for him early. You are unlikely to avert a lynch if it is going to happen so consider the risks of trying to do so.

If a teammate is bussing you, DO NOT ham it up as if you are having a pretend fight. Defend yourself as you would normally.

You don't need to completely ignore your team mates. Engage in conversation and even argue about your different opinions. Buddying with fellow mafia members can actually work as mafia usually end up buddying with town.

I didn't notice you were quoting yourself with that death note, Brenden. I wouldn't recommend it. I think almost everyone would take it as if you were framing yourself as it's been done a lot before. I don't think a mafia team would make a death note quoting you as you are quite a new player and they probably wouldn't pay much attention to you so it would be a bit unusual to see a death note like that coming from a team without you in it. imo you shouldn't send it.

And yeah that doctor claim is a good idea, I was thinking the same thing for the manipulator.
Only claim a town role if you're in a precarious situation though.
