Night actions are taken in this order:
A PM from the Godfather can override any night action.
If no PM from the godfather is given, a PM from each mafia member stating their night action will determine the actions.
If no PMs are given on a mafia member's actions, actions stated in the night chat will be taken.

Tl;dr PM's are not necessary but they override actions in the chat.

I'm not planning to give myself up, i'm planning for the town to think that the killer is not me because of me quoting myself. If all goes to hell though the actress can become detective and give me up to establish trust with the town.

To be clear, in the absence of a PM from the godfather, a PM from the mafioso would also cause you to take action.

Nah I've got this all in the bag.

Town don't have any investigative roles apart from the detective and the only one of us that will be moving regularly is Brenden so if we look like town in day chat we're good.

Are people notified of being time manipulated?

I don't think so, but you do visit the people to stop time.

Maybe if Crimson gets shot he could suggest that he might have been time manipulated which is why he hasn't died yet. I'm not really sure how best to use the role.

If a detective targets a time manipulated target will he receive no pm, be told his target has been manipulated or other?

When does night end?

I'm gonna try be pro-active and start scum hunting so the vigi won't want to shoot me. Vigis don't care if they shoot lurkers because they weren't being helpful anyway so I think you should try to post a decent amount. The truth seekers will guess you won't move every time but if you do move then the detectives might see you so it's pretty hard for us. Coroner is the easiest claim we can make but the best we can hope for with that is getting the real coro lynched. Detective gives us a bit more room with 3 slots but it's harder to guess people's actions. If you get an action right that hasn't been mentioned before then you'll look better.

I've got some questions about the setup but I'll ask them in the FAQ tomorrow.

People are not notified that they are manipulated.
Time manipulator only affects effects to the player - doctor healing, role blocking, soul stealing, kills, etc.
Investigative roles are not affected.
